At school, keep a water bottle close. Staying hydrated is important to your health and that can be hard when you are stuck in classrooms all day. You need to do this if you are busy with class through the day and cannot eat. Drinking during the day frequently allows you to keep focused on what you’re doing. Lots of water fountains allow for quick refills.

Be prompt when you are applying for grants or scholarships. By giving yourself plenty of time to find funding, you will not have to borrow as much money. Find a solid system for managing your deadlines and submit your applications in a timely manner.

When the time has come for a test, see to it that you have everything that you need. Neglecting to bring calculators, notes or other key items can cause unneeded stress and hinder your performance.
